We’re glad you’re here. We are a group of scholars and teachers in writing studies who began working with each other at Purdue University. Though some of us are collaborating on a few projects, we’re not a traditional research group (everyone working on the same project under the direction of a small number of PIs). Rather, we share broad common interests and support each other in teaching, research, and life in general through peer review, regular online co-working, and goofy memes and emoji.
See who we are, and celebrate some of our recent successes with us.
Here for the Jobs in English and Transdisciplinary Studies materials? Yay!
Why “Disseminar?” That was the name for the dissertation seminar Dilger’s mentor Gregory L. Ulmer hosted at Florida. Our goal here is — as Ulmer would say — seeking what he sought, trying to create a distributed research group that values multiple ways of thinking about research and teaching: as intellectual work, as craft, as a social enterprise.
